Hi, I'm Sav!

It's great to meet you!

I'm a multidisciplinary healer and mind-body expert on a mission to help people like you become their own best master knowers and healers.

I got tired of empty promises from so-called "experts", and of searching high and low for what I needed only to come up empty-handed.

I created Poshya to be exactly what I needed but could never find: holistic, mind-body-spirit resources that are clear, direct, and easy to digest and that are brought directly to the people who want it most.

These are my notes, my practices, and my lessons learned over the last 15 years through both personal and professional integrative mind-body experience. I'm so proud to share them with you!

Summary of Qualifications

Or are they... Koala-fications? You decide!

Integrative Mind-Body Work

Sav has over 250 hours of training through the Somatic Experiencing® Institute, including their Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) training program. It is common for teachers within the Institute to create their own additional programs, and Savanna has completed over 200 hours of additional training with Raja Selvam (Integral Somatic Psychotherapy), Kathy Kain (Somatic Practice) and Steve Terrell (Austin Attachment).

She has also accrued over 100 hours of training in Internal Family Systems, including their Level One training, and is an Internal Family Systems Therapist.

Sav has also received her Master level Reiki attunement, has completed training with Flower Essences, and is a practicing herbalist.

Massage/Bodywork

Sav has over 600 hours of training in massage therapy and is licensed as a Master Massage Therapist in her home state.

She has additional training and specialization in nuad bo-rarn (Thai massage), cupping, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and manual lymphatic drainage.

Mental Health

Sav holds a Masters’ Degree in Clinical Counseling; has been in the field of professional mental health for the past 10 years; and has owned her own private practice for the last 5 years with a specialty in chronic illness, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. She maintains active licensure in her home state.

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Clinical Hypnosis, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and has accrued nearly 150 hours of specialized training in complex trauma and dissociation. She also has held leadership positions within Special Interest Groups of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissocation (ISSTD).

Travel

T lessons, stories, and experiences that Sav has accumulated traveling through over 40 countries, many of them solo, has shaped her tremendously. She has chased the Northern Lights across Finland, backpacked through central Europe, surfed in Costa Rica, and practiced yoga in nearly a dozen countries.

The grit and mental fortitude that she has cultivated through her travels served her well in Poshya's early days!

Yoga

Sav has spent the last 15 years of her life nurturing her personal yoga practice, and has had the distinct honor of helping others cultivate their own practices as well.

She has amassed over 1500 hours of yoga education, and holds most of the credentials available to yoga professionals. She is registered as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level (ERYT500), a Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT), and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) through Yoga Alliance. She also is able to provide continuing education through Yoga Alliance (YA).

She also maintains certification as a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

Savanna Scott Davis

Poshya Mastermind and Mind-Body Expert

Sav is a multidisciplinary healer and mind-body expert with a heart for adventure, good food, authenticity, and connection.

With nearly ten thousand of hours of professional experience over the last fifteen years, she has amassed expertise in the mind-body overlap in a way that is entirely unique and has allowed her to create a niche of her own: Poshya Wellness Collective.

Her particular areas of interest include, but are not limited to: the interplay between lymphatic health, endocrine health, and nervous system health (PS: it's about so much more than just the vagus nerve!); systemic and downstream impacts of nervous system dysregulation; post-traumatic growth and resilience; the widespread negligence of the Western model with respect to a litany of womens' health issues; integrating ancient yoga theory with "modern" techniques; and witnessing excellence in all its forms.

She's so excited to learn with you!
